How do I become a member?
Each applicant for membership shall apply on a form as approved by the Board of Directors, which shall provide that the applicant agrees to abide by these constitution and by-laws and the rules of the American Kennel Club.
All prospective members must attend three (3) meetings (not necessarily consecutive) before an application to membership may be filed. All applications are to be filed with the Secretary and each application is to be read at the first meeting of the Board of Directors following its receipt. If the Board approves, the application is to be voted upon by the membership of the Club at the next meeting, with affirmative votes of 3⁄4 of the members present and voting at that meeting.
TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP
Regular membership either single ($10) or family ($15). Family is permitted a total of 2 votes.
Associate membership ($10) is a non-voting member or family that is unable to participate in active membership.
MEETINGS
